HACKING INTO AUTONOMOUS CARS

With the explosion of the autonomous car market, the day-to-day lives of motorists and other stakeholders are being turned upside down. As all these cars depend on an Internet link, an aspect of their use that cannot be ignored. As with any connected device, there is a real risk of unauthorized access, which can present serious risks. A hacker could take control of a vehicle, causing it to perform inappropriate maneuvers. Fortunately, the means to counter such invasions exist in the form of software and algorithms. However, it is up to the various parties involved to ensure that these systems are kept up to date.

If these vehicles are to deliver their full potential, all their parameters must be perfectly up to standard.
