ROBOTS ON THE ROAD!

Artificial intelligence is revolutionizing every aspect of human activity. Autonomous cars will be no exception to this revolution. Like robots on wheels, they will analyze their environment in real time and react appropriately to different situations. Communicating with each other and with road infrastructures, they will act as a “swarm.” The result will be smoother, safer traffic. Certain obstacles remain, however. The potential failure of one or more systems, cybersecurity and a number of ethical issues remain to be overcome.

As this technology is still under development, there are few of its kind on our roads today. Although there are still a number of hurdles to overcome, progress in this field is nonetheless dazzling. Humans will soon be nothing more than passengers.
