MICHELIN LAUNCHES TIRES FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES

At its Sustainability Media Conference, held on March 13 at the Sonoma Raceway in California, the North American division of French manufacturer Michelin launched the EV version of its tires, with the top-performing Pilot Sport tires showcased on the track. There were also Primacy tires, prototypes that will soon be on the market. They were mounted on Ford Explorers, proving that tires specifically adapted for electric vehicles can also be used on vehicles with internal combustion engines.

The conference also gave Michelin the opportunity to inform us about its global goals, including transportation alternatives, future product development and Michelin’s commitment to the environment and sustainability.
