KARMA ANNOUNCES GREATER PRODUCTION

By Éric Descarries

According to the trade publication Automotive News, the small Californian manufacturer Karma Automotive (formerly Fisker) is about to announce a greater vehicle production output, including a few barely unveiled novelties. Indeed, its most recent president, Marques McCammon, a former Chrysler engineer, has expressed a desire to add the Karma name to the niche of exotic car manufacturers such as Ferrari, Aston Martin, Lamborghini and others.

Except this time, Karma, which is already offering the exotic Revero hybrid coupe for 2024, will eventually produce only electric vehicles like its Kaveya prototype unveiled last November in Las Vegas and at the Los Angeles Auto Show, with a promise of production as early as 2025. There has even been talk of a sedan, the Gyesera, which should follow very closely. The Kaveya is expected to have a range of 450 km, and will be offered in two versions: rear-wheel drive with 536 hp, and four-wheel drive with 1,000 hp.
