ARROW PROJECT’S SECOND LIFE
By Isabelle Havasy
The Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association (APMA) has announced the return of Project Arrow 2.0, an all-Canadian EV initiative, during the COP28 Climate Conference in Dubai. Following the success of the first edition, which toured globally, APMA aims to produce 10 to 20 vehicles featuring upgraded technology from diverse suppliers. The project will retain its design while advancing technology and manufacturing processes as well as exploring different zero-emission technologies, including fuel cells. Beyond auto parts, Arrow 2.0 welcomes partnerships in EV charging and educational institutions. The next-gen series will delve more into cybersecurity, grid integration, and charging technologies. The initiative will launch its request for proposals at CES 2024 in Las Vegas.
