INFINITI ROLLS UP ITS SLEEVES
By Éric Descarries
It’s no secret that Japanese automaker Nissan’s Infiniti luxury brand is declining in popularity with consumers. However, Nissan has no intention of letting this happen to them, so they’re fighting back with four upcoming prototype cars, two of which are said to be fully electric.
Among them, we recognize the large, redesigned QX80 SUV that was already partially revealed at the launch of the Monograph styling study presented last August, a crossover VUM coupe that will be called the QX65 and, above all, two all-electric vehicles, one with a hatchback configuration (currently labelled Vision QE, which will see the light of day in 2027) and the other being a crossover vehicle. Both will be built at Nissan’s Canton plant in Mississippi, where other Nissan automotive products will also be produced.
