PROPULSION QUÉBEC’S CEO STEPS DOWN

By Anne Bourgoin

Sarah Houde, President and CEO of Propulsion Québec since its founding in 2017, plans on leaving her position by the fall. The board of directors of the electric and intelligent transportation cluster describes Houde as someone who has worked hard with her teams and risen to the challenge of positioning the industry as a key player in the economy of Québec and Canada. “Her greatest achievements were certainly to have been at the origin of the Québec and Canadian battery strategy, to have succeeded in significantly changing regulations and public policies in favour of sustainable mobility, and to have recruited the best talent, creating a strong team, now made up of 25 talented and dynamic people. She has made the cluster a key player in the sector throughout North America,” notes Benoît Lacroix, President and CEO of Astus and Chairman of the Board of Propulsion Québec.

A recruitment firm will launch the hiring process in the next few days, and a selection committee made up of board members will be responsible for choosing Propulsion Québec’s next leader.
