CAFU ORDERS LION TRUCKS FOR ITS OPERATIONS

By Éric Descarries

CAFU, the home energy delivery platform, has just signed an agreement with Québec electric truck manufacturer Lion Électrique for five Lion5 medium-duty trucks to expand its on-site electric vehicle recharging service.

CAFU recently assigned Transit trucks to make “deliveries” (battery recharges) to individuals and retailers who find it more difficult to recharge their electric vehicles due to the limited availability of charging stations in their area. The Lion trucks (class 5) are a little larger and more robust than the Transit, and could therefore be more efficient in the long term.
