IS THE HEATING BELT THE WAY OF THE FUTURE?

Of all the new technologies to appear recently, could the heated seat belt be the one with the greatest future? We have to admit that this technological feat, which came from the German equipment manufacturer ZF, is the most surprising in the news.

Many owners or users of electric vehicles have complained about the lack of warmth in their vehicle’s interior during the winter months. ZF Friedrichshafen AG thought it would be a good idea to look into the problem and propose a practical solution, the heated seatbelt, which, combined with the heated seat, could keep the occupants of an electric car or truck in comfort. According to its designer, it could increase interior temperature by 15% without requiring more energy from the vehicle to heat its occupants!
