RIVIAN NOW AVAILABLE IN CANADA

According to many reliable sources, electric pickup maker Rivian is finally allowed to deliver its trucks to Canadian customers. Transport Canada just recently certified and registered the automaker to sell in Canada. It seems that Transport Canada needed more information and additional documentation from Rivian before certification. All that seems to be done by now and Transport Canada’s Preclearance List of Recognized Vehicle Importers now lists both the R1T (Truck OEM) and R1S (MPV-multi-purpose passenger vehicle) as certified. Earlier this year, Rivian was supposed to deliver its first R1T and R1S to Canadian customers in July. Yet, Automotive News Canada recently published that a Rivian spokesperson could not immediately say when the first deliveries are expected to begin.
