CADILLAC REVEALS CELESTIQ, A SPECTACULAR ELECTRIC SHOW CAR

Cadillac just unveiled the CELESTIQ show car, an all-electric version of its upcoming hand-crafted flagship sedan. The show car previews some of the materials, innovative technologies and hand-crafted attention to detail that previews the automaker’s vision for the future. Among these, let’s mention five high definition, advanced LED interactive displays including a 55-inch-diagonal advanced LED display. Let’s also point out some industry firsts such as a Smart Glass Roof and Ultra Cruise, General Motors’s upcoming evolution of an available hands-free driver assistance technology that Cadillac plans to offer on CELESTIQ. That Smart Glass Roof features Suspended Particle Device technology allowing for four zones of variable lighting. Passengers will then be able to fine-tune their cabin experience for personalized comfort and visibility. A 55-inch-diagonal advanced LED display includes a passenger display with electronic digital blinds, an active privacy technology allowing passengers to enjoy video content while blocking it from the view of the driver. Availability for the production version of CELESTIQ will be announced at a later date.
