65,000 POLESTAR 2 MODELS FOR HERTZ

Over the next five years, Hertz will add 65,000 vehicles from the Swedish brand Polestar. This new partnership is part of Hertz’s drive to electrify its entire fleet. The vehicles, which will be available starting this spring in Europe and in the fall for the North American and Australian markets, will help “accelerate the adoption of electrification while providing individuals, corporate customers and ride-sharing partners with premium electric vehicles, an exceptional experience and a reduced carbon footprint.” The addition of the Polestar 2 model diversifies the Florida-based company’s zero-emission vehicle offerings. Hertz began electrifying its fleet last October with the purchase of 100,000 Tesla Model 3 and Model Y vehicles.
