Peugeot to go all-electric in Europe from 2030

According to Automotive News Europe, French auto manufacturer Peugeot, one of Stellantis’ brands, will be selling only electric cars in Europe using four Stellantis EV platforms from 2030 onwards. Linda Jackson, Peugeot CEO, confirmed the decision and added that the French brand should continue to produce ICE models for other international markets. Peugeot’s switch to battery power will come later than for other manufacturers of the Stellantis group while DS should be switching to electric power in 2026, Alfa Romeo in 2027 and Opel/Vauxhall in 2028. Stellantis also includes American brands such as Dodge, RAM and Chrysler.
