There will be an all-electric Silverado

General Motors has confirmed on April 6 that Chevrolet will produce a Silverado electric pickup truck (mostly to compete with Ford’s upcoming electric F-150 !). The new pick-up truck will be built at the company’s Factory ZERO assembly plant in Detroit and Hamtramck, Michigan, at the same place the EV HUMMER will be built using its all-new Ultium platform. This vehicle will be part of the more than 1 million electric vehicles GM intends to build globally by 2025. The Chevrolet Silverado electric full-size pickup is designed from the ground up as an EV and should be able to cover more than 650 km on a full charge.
