Canada invests in the discovery of electric vehicles
In order to get consumers to know more about electric vehicles and encourage Canadian motorists toward a cleaner energy in the future, Canada Minister of Natural Resources, the Honourable Seamus O’Reagan, has recently announced a $100,000 investment in an Electric Vehicle Discovery project.
This program wants to create a new initiative on wheels destined to get electric vehicles better known to consumers.
This grant was handed to Plug’n Drive, a nonprofit organization for the build of a mobile trailer on EVs making it a mini-centre of discovery specialized into educating and getter people more conscious about EVs in Canada.
The trailer will allow consumers to road test EVs while showing the economic and environmental advantages of EVs. The trailer first parked at Ottawa’s IKEA will then travel the country trying to reach people not necessarily exposed to EVs.
