Tesla Model 3 earns top safety scores in Europe

Although the results of the U.S. Insurance Institute for Highway Safety are not yet available, Model 3 has performed well in most aspects of Euro NCAP testing.

European tests have demonstrated safety levels in the Tesla Model 3 beyond those still tested in the United States. The European New Car Evaluation Program announced the results last week of its full test series on a 2019 3 model, and it gave model 3 its highest overall score in 2019 for the full collection of tests, in the collision protection for its own occupants and pedestrians, and in its collision avoidance technology.
