Telsa Reduces Maintenance and Eliminates Annual Service

In a bid to highlight the inherent reliability of their electric vehicles and amidst a backlog at their service centres, Tesla has changed the recommended maintenance for their vehicles. Previous guidelines that included mileage and regular timeframe elements have been updated to periodic, as-needed servicing of brake fluid, pads, and calipers, filters, and air conditioning.  

In independent reliability reports, electric car cars have proven to require vastly fewer repairs of critical systems such as their drivetrains (Consumer Reports).
