BMW iNext Will Start Production in 2021

The iNext, BMW’s flagship electric vehicle, will start production in 2021 and should arrive in North America later that year. The exact model name is yet to be confirmed. The all-electric crossover will have a range of over 600 km and be capable of Level 3 autonomous driving, according to the company.

The semi-autonomous driving mode, activated by pressing the logo on the center of the steering wheel, will be able to handle steering, acceleration, and braking duties under certain conditions.  The exterior has a futuristic-looking design, blue light-up accents, and distinctive front grille. The interior is described as “a comfortable and fashionably furnished living space on wheels” by the company.
