HYUNDAI AND GM SIGN A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

On September 12th, South Korean automaker Hyundai and American automaker General Motors signed a memorandum of understanding to explore collaboration on vehicles, supply chains, technologies, and clean energy. By doing so, these two companies aim to improve their efficiency and increase their competitiveness through this partnership.
Thus, Hyundai and GM will seek ways to enhance their complementary strengths to reduce costs and offer a broader range of vehicles and technologies to their customers. The collaboration will involve co-development projects for production and commercial vehicles, internal combustion engines, and clean energy technologies. This agreement was signed by Mary Barra, Chair and CEO of General Motors, and Euisun Chung, Executive Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group.
