NEW SMALL ELECTRIC CARS ON THE WAY

While the electric vehicle craze seems to be slowing down, some automakers believe the time is right to launch smaller versions of electric cars rather than vans, or large luxury or exotic cars.

Following Kia’s announcement of small concept vehicles in this direction, Rivian (whose first products are full-size pickups and SUVs) is unveiling its next line-up of mid-size cars, including the R2, R3 and R3X, SUVs and CUVs that bear an uncanny resemblance to the Dodge Omni of the past! Planned for 2026, these vehicles will be priced in the U.S. at around $45,000.
