HONDA UNVEILS THE FUTURE OF ECO-FRIENDLY DRIVING WITH THE 2025 CR-V e:FCEV
Honda has launched the 2025 CR-V e:FCEV, America’s inaugural plug-in hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV), marking a significant milestone in eco-friendly transportation. This compact CUV, known for its engaging drive, boasts a 435 km EPA range and integrates a pioneering U.S.-manufactured fuel cell system with plug-in charging capabilities. Offering up to 47 km of pure electric driving and rapid hydrogen refuelling for extended journeys, the CR-V e:FCEV represents Honda’s commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 and transitioning to 100% zero-emission vehicle sales by 2040. Available for lease in California later this year, this vehicle also serves as a mobile power source with its Honda Power Supply Connector. Built in Ohio, the CR-V e:FCEV is the first to use the second-generation Honda Fuel Cell Module, promising enhanced durability, efficiency, and cost effectiveness, thanks to a collaboration with General Motors. This model stands out with its unique design, including an exclusive grille, distinctive rear fascia, and aerodynamic enhancements. With advanced safety features and a robust 174-horsepower electric motor, the CR-V e:FCEV sets a new standard for sustainable and enjoyable driving.
