STELLANTIS LAUNCHES THE ELECTRIC VERSION OF ITS RAM PROMASTER VAN

By Éric Descarries

Stellantis, the maker of Ram pickup trucks, has just announced that it will now be possible to order an electric version of its large ProMaster delivery van. In fact, the new ProMaster EV is already available in delivery format, while a transport model will be available shortly.

The vehicle’s standard battery pack will be 110 kWh, which should give the ProMaster EV a range of 260 kilometres on urban journeys. In terms of body design, this ProMaster will have a 159-inch wheelbase (with 12 or 13 feet of cargo space), with an extended body and a raised roof. The delivery version will have a load capacity of 2,030 lbs, while the cargo version will have a load capacity of 3,020 lbs.
