TESLA MODEL 3 2024 GOES ON SALE IN CANADA

According to Tesla’s Canadian website, rear-wheel drive versions of the Model 3 can be ordered immediately and will be delivered within two months. This is a very short waiting time compared to other electric vehicles. Canadian prices for the rear-wheel drive base variant start at $53,990. A second long-range version with all-wheel drive starts at $63,990.

Tesla has reworked the new Model 3: design, soundproofing and material quality have all been revised, as have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth access. But range remains the same, as the automaker has kept its powertrain unchanged: 438 kilometres for rear-wheel drive models and 548 kilometres for dual-motor models equipped with a long-range battery.

The redesigned front end features slimmer headlamps (fog lamps have disappeared), the bumper has been streamlined and the rear lights are now integrated into the trunk and made of a single piece.

The central screen has been enlarged. A second screen has been added for rear passengers, enabling them to manage the climate control or listen to videos. The steering wheel, inspired by the Model S and X, incorporates buttons for turn signals. The gearshift has disappeared. It has been replaced by digital controls integrated into the central screen. Acoustic glass and soundproofing materials have been added to the cabin for enhanced comfort.
