LANAUDIÈRE’S FIRST ELECTRIC VEHICLE AND LEISURE SHOW
By Anne Bourgoin
From September 29 to October 1, the very first edition of the Salon du véhicule et loisir électrique Desjardins de Lanaudière will be held in Terrebonne. The Centre Expo de Terrebonne will be transformed into a one-stop shop for information on electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, with experts on hand to answer questions from the public. The event will feature 15 conferences, a large number of vehicles on the site, including electric bikes and scooters, as well as a snowmobile and an ATV. Thanks to a partnership with the Association des véhicules électriques du Québec (AVÉQ), visitors will be able to test-drive electric or hybrid vehicles on Terrebonne’s roads. Registration is free. An indoor track will also be set up for testing bikes and scooters.
