A FIRST STORE DEDICATED TO ELECTRIC CARS

On July 13th, Hyundai Canada and the Gabriel Group announced the opening of Hyundai Electrified. This is the first manufacturer’s store dedicated entirely to electric vehicles (EVs) to be launched in North America. With this new space, located on St. Catherine Street in downtown Montréal, Hyundai wants to educate as many people as possible about EVs, the company and the advanced technology behind the brand’s vehicles, said Don Romano, President and CEO of Hyundai Canada. Of the twelve products in the company’s portfolio, eight models are available with a variety of electrified powertrain options.

The Quebec market accounts for more than 60 percent of Hyundai’s electric vehicles sold in the country, and since its launch in December 2021, 40 percent of pre-orders for the IONIQ 5 have come from Quebec.
