Subaru unveiled its electric concept race car

It’s at the less known Tokyo Auto Show (not to be confused with the Tokyo International Motor Show) held earlier this month that Japanese automaker Subaru unveiled its concept race car called the STI-E-RA. This unique design is aimed at gathering experience with new technologies in motorsports for our upcoming carbon-neutral era. The STI E-RA Concept develops 1073 hp thanks to four motors driving all four wheels with torque vectoring. The high-torque motors were made by Yamaha along with an integrated inverter and a gear for hyper EVs. The concept car’s lithium-ion battery pack has a capacity of 60 kWh.
