President Biden drives the new Ford Lightning

The news went around the world very rapidly. US President Joe Biden paid a quick visit last Tuesday at Ford Motor Company’s Rouge Electric Vehicle Center in Dearborn, Michigan to see by himself how the upcoming all-electric F-150 Lightning was coming along. At the same time, he spoke much for the electric vehicle saying that he, himself, was a car guy (he even owns a powerful vintage Chevy Corvette) still mentionning that the future of the automobile was electric. 

Yet, Biden also insited on the fact that electric vehicles and their batteries must be made in the USA if the Americans want to beat the Chinese electric auto industry that claims it is first in the world. Biden concluded his visit by driving the Lightning prototype. Stepping out of the truck he simply said : «This sucker is fast»!
