Canadian Prototype Project Arrow Traction to be built

Traction is a project car that was introduced at the 2020 Consumer Electric Show by Ottawa’s Carleton School of Industrial Design. This prototype made it to the final round of three projects that reached the final round of a contest launched by the Automotive Parts Manufacturers Association to demonstrate Canadian expertise.

This contest was intended to showcase what Canada’s automotive supply sector was able to come up with. Obviously a zero-emission vehicle, the Project Arrow Traction is now in its engineering phase as the car’s construction and official release are slated for 2022.

The build leader of the project will be handed to the Ontario Tech University in Oshawa.
