Bentley to become all-electric

As Bentley is well known for building ultra luxury vehicles powered by mighty V8 and V12 engines, you might be surprised to learn that this century-old British brand has chosen to go all-electric come 2030.

As a matter of fact, Bentley’s first two all-electric cars should be marketed as soon as 2026. But why should such a news be so exciting since it comes from a car maker that barely produces 10,000 vehicles a year? In case you are not aware, Bentley belongs to the huge Volkswagen family of cars and trucks and this German brand is actually working hand in hand with another automotive giant, Ford Motor Company, in developing electric cars and their platforms.

Could there be some kind of relation here?
