The Nissan Leaf Plus is AJAC’s Canadian Green Car of the Year… again!

For the second consecutive year, the Nissan Leaf Plus has been named the 2020 Canadian Green Car of the Year (CGCOTY) by the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC).

“We are honoured to accept this award from AJAC. The Leaf is symbolic of Nissan’s overall dedication to facilitate zero emission mobility for generations to come,” says Steve Milette, president of Nissan Canada.

Nissan offers two lithium-ion battery options for its popular EV. The Leaf gets a 40 kWh battery allowing it to cover up to 240 kilometres, while a 62 kWh battery adds enough energy for the Leaf Plus to reach up to 363 kilometres.
