MITSUBISHI ANNOUNCES NEW MODELS IN CANADA

By Anne Bourgoin

Mitsubishi has just presented its 2030 Momentum plan to its 97 Canadian and American dealers. Kenji Harada, Mitsubishi’s President and CEO, outlined the company’s plans for the future: electrification, a renewed and expanded line-up to strengthen Mitsubishi Motors Canada, a modernized retail model and a strengthened partnership with the dealer network, as well as sales growth.

With only four models currently available, Mitsubishi Canada has increased its sales in 2023 by 62%, and 2024 looks just as promising. And by 2030, the company’s product range will be renewed, expanded and electrified. Harada also mentioned that one new model, or a completely refreshed one, will be released every year between 2026 and 2030.

The electrified range will include vehicles powered by internal combustion engines with advanced technology, hybrids, plug-in hybrids and battery electric vehicles.
