STUDENTS IMAGINE THE POLESTAR SYNERGY

By Anne Bourgoin

Last year, the Swedish electric vehicle brand launched a design competition. Two winners were chosen for the exterior and one for the interior. They worked for six months to create a vehicle combining their three visions, and the result was presented at Mobility 2023 in Munich.

Inspired by the hammerhead shark, the supercar is 1.07 m high and just 4.56 m long. The cockpit features just one centrally placed seat, and navigation is worthy of a starship of the future. The driver can even wear a virtual reality headset.

“It’s not often that student designers get such exposure early in their careers, which the Polestar Design Community on Instagram does so well, amplified this year by the 1:1 scale model and its planned tour of Polestar sites around the world,” noted Maximillian Missoni, Polestar’s chief designer.
