ELECTRIFY CANADA TO ADD NACS CONNECTOR BY 2025
By Anne Bourgoin
Electrify America continues to support the growth of the electric vehicle (EV) industry by adding North American Charging Standard (NACS) connectors to its U.S. and Canadian networks by 2025. NACS charging ports complement networks already equipped with CCS-1 (Combined Charging System) connectors. “Since our founding, we have focused on building an open and inclusive hyper-fast charging network to facilitate the adoption of electric vehicles. We look forward to continuing to support industry-wide standards that increase vehicle interoperability and simplify public charging,” noted Robert Barrosa, President and CEO of Electrify America.
Electrify America and Electify Canada stations feature 150 and 350 kilowatt charging stations, among the fastest charging speeds on the market today.
