FORD REDUCES CANADIAN PRICES FOR ITS MUSTANG MACH-E
By Éric Descarries
Ford of Canada has just announced a price cut of up to 14 percent on its electric Mustang Mach-E, which translates into a discount from $2,250 to $11,000 based on the trim level chosen. The automaker is justifying the price cut as a way to increase production and better compete with Tesla Inc. in an effort to achieve market leadership. The most recent pricing reduction for the Mustang Mach-E was in January of this year, following Tesla’s price cut.
The price of the rear-wheel drive Mustang Mach-E Premium with extended range will be reduced by $11,000 to $66,995, while the eAWD Premium version will be reduced by $10,250 to $69,995. These prices do not include shipping and preparation fees.
