POLESTAR 2—IMPROVED POWER, PERFORMANCE AND RANGE

The world of electric vehicles will see more and more improvements in the coming years and Polestar is no exception with significant updates that will improve the power, performance and range of its Polestar 2 model. For the 2024 model year, the premium compact electric vehicle features a new high-tech front end that reflects the design language first implemented on the Polestar 3.

The Polestar 2 features all-new electric motors and even more powerful batteries. It features durability improvements in addition to being equipped, for the first time for Polestar, with rear-wheel drive.

New generation electric motors and inverters equip all Polestar 2 variants, greatly improving efficiency and performance. Single motor variants now have rear-wheel drive, driven by a newly designed permanent magnet motor and silicon carbide inverter.

In most markets, all versions of the Polestar 2 are equipped with improved lithium-ion batteries, which have a positive impact on efficiency and capacity as well as on charging times.

The standard equipment of the Polestar 2 has been redesigned to increase overall value and convenience. Driver Awareness features are now standard and include the devices Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with directional assist, Cross Traffic Alert with Brake Assist and Rear Collision Warning and Mitigation, not to mention the 360-degree panoramic camera and exterior mirrors with automatic anti-glare function.
