CHEVROLET BOLT SALES RISE IN Q3

The popularity of the Chevrolet Bolt EV and Bolt E U V shows no sign of slowing down, as General Motors reported record domestic sales in its 2022 Q3 for both models combined. The U.S. automaker expects to repeat the feat for the final period of the year and plans to boost production rates for next year.

Chevrolet sold 3,130 units of its Chevrolet Bolt (EV and EUV) in the third quarter. This represents a 163.02% increase compared to the same period in 2021.

An improvement in production and dealer inventory levels helped GM achieve its first year-to-date sales growth. Chevrolet, Cadillac and GMC posted significant gains while Buick’s numbers remained in the red zone.

Meanwhile, down south, Cadillac delivered only 36 units of the Lyriq, the brand’s first electric model, and only 411 new owners received their copy of the Hummer EV from GMC.
