28 VEHICLES TO BE TESTED DURING THE ELECTRIC RIDE & DRIVE

On September 14, NAFA’s Quebec division hosted a one-day test drive for fleet managers at the ICAR circuit in Mirabel. During this Ride & Drive electric event, participants had at their disposal 28 vehicles of various brands and several experts were on hand to answer their questions.

Ford, GM, Hyundai, Kia, Lion, Stellantis and Polestar offered a wide range of vehicles throughout the day, while two Tesla models, Model 3 and Y, made an appearance in the morning but bowed out after the lunch break.

For nearly five hours, attendees lined up on an outdoor path to test acceleration, cornering and braking on a course marked out by cones. Cars, SUVs and pickup trucks with various powertrains (all-electric, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and hydrogen) took turns on the track. The E-Transit, Brightdrop ZEVO 600 and Lion6 trucks were also on display.

The Electric Ride & Drive 2022 edition was a unique opportunity to explore and test-drive the different vehicles available to managers looking to renew or upgrade their fleet.
