ELECTRIFY AMERICA AND ELECTRIFY CANADA MAKE LIFE EASIER FOR EV USERS

Electrify America and Electrify Canada have announced the implementation of two power names: Hyper-Fast for 350 kW chargers and Ultra-Fast for 150 kW chargers, in an effort to simplify the electric vehicle (EV) charging experience. The idea is to help create a universal standard.

“As EV sales continue to grow, it’s important that we continue to educate everyone on the ease of public charging so consumers are comfortable with the change. It shouldn’t take a calculator to figure out which charger is best for your electric vehicle’s capabilities,” said Robert Barrosa, senior director, sales, business development and marketing for Electrify America and Electrify Canada.

Electrify America is also adding Balanced chargers to its network. This technology allows all chargers to deliver 350 kW.
