THE POLESTAR 6 ROADSTER WILL SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY
Polestar, Volvo’s performance division, announced in mid-August its plans to mass-produce its electric roadster. Unveiled last March as the Polestar O₂, the concept car had generated a lot of buzz among consumers and the press. Under the name Polestar 6, the hardtop convertible is expected to be launched in 2026. Featuring the same high-performance 800-volt electric architecture that will equip its predecessor, scheduled for 2024, the Polestar 6 will develop 884 horsepower from its dual-motor powertrain. Capable of going from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, it will be able to reach a top speed of 250 km/h.
