Polestar has the wind in its sails in Canada, where the brand is making one of its strongest geographical advances. The Swedish electric vehicle manufacturer has just announced several “strategic initiatives to support its rise in Canada, where the brand is making one of its strongest geographical gains, contributing to its global success.” In the first half of 2022, Polestar has accumulated 21,200 deliveries and 50,000 orders worldwide. This 244% increase in deliveries since the beginning of the year demonstrates the enthusiasm of Canadians for the Polestar 2, which is eligible for two government rebates in Québec.

The Montréal team, led by Hugues Bissonnette, head of Polestar Canada, now includes a full complement of experts in marketing, operations, retail sales, technical aspects, after-sales and financial services.

“We have seen great enthusiasm from all of our customers across Canada. As the Canadian Polestar team grows, we are pleased to offer completely local support to existing customers, while adjusting appropriately to the anticipated rapid growth in the market,” said Bissonnette.

With three retail “spaces” strategically located in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, Polestar is “able to service nearly 95% of the potential electric vehicle market in Canada.
