LOCATIONS OF UPCOMING EV STATIONS IN CANADA

The Government of Canada has announced a number of investments to enable the installation of new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. In Ontario, 117 EV chargers will be installed by March 2023, thanks to an investment of $765,000.

In Manitoba and Saskatchewan, more than $2.5 million will be used to install 400 EV chargers by the end of 2023.

In British Columbia, 128 new EV chargers will be installed by the winter of 2022. Shell has announced an investment of $3.95 million to install 79 EV charging points at 37 of their retail locations along critical corridors between Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

And Hydro-Québec will receive $4.6 million to support the installation of 840 Level 2 EV chargers across Quebec by March 2024.
