ONROUTE EQUIPS 16 NEW STATIONS WITH CHARGING POINTS

Sixteen new ONroute locations on the verges of Highways 400 and 401 now offer fast-charging stations for electric vehicles. With a charging speed of up to 150 kW, these 58 Level 3 chargers provide up to 100 km of range in 10 minutes.

Each of Ivy’s ONroute Charge & Go service centre has two to four chargers to accommodate all current EV models, and also includes charging ports for Tesla vehicles.

This charger network rollout is the result of an agreement announced last year between ONroute, Ivy Charging Network (a joint venture between Hydro One and Ontario Power Generation), Canadian Tire Corporation (CTC) and funded by Natural Resources Canada.
