EMC’s new director of research took office on January 31.

We would like to formally welcome Bora Plumptre, Director of Research, to the EMC staff team. With an extensive background in federal policy and clean energy advocacy, Bora brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge, as well as a passion for cleaner, healthier, climate-safe systems of transport. Previously a senior analyst with the Pembina Institute, Bora holds an M.Sc. in Environmental Sustainability from the University of Ottawa, as well as a B.A. (Joint Honours) in Philosophy, History, and Musical Applications of Technology from McGill University. In his spare time, you can find Bora baking bread, playing piano, or running around Toronto (where he is based) and Ottawa (where he is from).
