A sneak peak at the upcoming electric GMC Sierra

Like competing manufacturers, General Motors’ light truck division GMC has been working on an electric version of its very popular pick-up truck, the Sierra. Though it is planned to be offered as a 2023 version, the company thought of providing us a first look at its upcoming pickup previewing the truck’s exterior front-end lighting. The electric Sierra, which will launch only in the Denali trim, will be the third all-electric vehicle in GMC’s portfolio after the GMC Hummer EV Pickup and GMC Hummer EV SUV.

Just like the GMC Hummer EV, the electric Sierra will be built on the Ultium Platform according to earlier information from the company. The truck will be completely revealed next year as it will be assembled in General Motors’ Factory ZERO Assembly Plant in Detroit and Hamtramck, Michigan.
