Everything indicates an EV Equinox is on its way

Last summer, GM Authority’s website unveiled the fact that General Motors had filed a patent design that depicted what might be a fully electric version of a redesigned Chevrolet Equinox compact SUV. It included a new platform, a new design and mostly no exhaust system meaning it should be an all-electric vehicle. More recently, GM President Mark Reuss referred to an upcoming EV Equinox by name but not mentioning when it would hit the market at a price around the $30,000 US. Following all the recent GM announcement of the Ultium battery development, it should come as no surprise that the upcoming Equinox would be equipped with such technology. Is GM trying to beat Ford to the line as a new Escape is announced for 2025? Why not since GM intends to launch some 25 new EVs until 2025!
