BMW’s new iX electric luxury SUV

German manufacturer BMW has recently unveiled the North American market information concerning its 2022 iX electric luxury SUV, a few months ahead of the vehicle’s anticipated market launch in the first quarter of 2022.

The 2022 BMW iX should start at $84,195 US, including its destination fee. As far as Its EPA-rated range is concerned, it hasn’t yet been confirmed, but it’s expected to be “around 500 kilometres” according to the manufacturer. 

This information is for the iX xDrive50 that will make its debut with a dual-motor system developing some 516 horsepower. This version of the iX will have 200 kW DC fast-charging system and will feature a single-piece panoramic glass roof and a new curved display with BMW’s latest iDrive 8 interface.
