GM to offer a new full-size Chevy electric van

After introducing its all-new medium size (Canadian-built) electric delivery van, the BrightDrop, a few weeks ago, General Motors just announced that it will also soon unveil an upcoming EV Chevy van.

But no date or other details have been announced concerning this new product that will also join a new generation of all-electric medium duty trucks. Yet, many observers don’t see them coming to the market before 2025.

Meanwhile, according to many specialized publications, Ford and Daimler are already working on new products for this growing segment as newcomer Rivian is also involved.

Ironically, GM’s actual ICE-powered vans like the Chevrolet Express and the GMC Savana are still selling very well despite their old age (26 years of design production).
