New electric car charger emerging From the roadway in the UK

The charging infrastructure of electric cars is considered one of the stumbling blocks to explain why the massive adoption of electric cars is delaying. The problem is that there are not enough charging points for on the majority of UK roads to recharge an EV travelling away from its home port, despite the number of chargers that have been sold in recent years.  Things are about to change.

New electric car chargers that will emerge from the roadway, if needed, are being developed by a British company. Urban Electric develops chargers that retract in the sidewalk when not in use.
