Porsche Taycan Electric Should Make its Debut in September

Porsche has released new Taycan teaser images, their first foray into the high-performance electric vehicle market on Monday, March 18th. The images of the liftback sedan did not disappoint and provoked a wave of excitement and speculation.

The new Porsche “should be presented at the end of 2019”, which is particularly close to the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The vehicle is expected to feature several innovative features, including a smart cooling system and an 800-volt battery. The stated goals of the company are: “maximum performance, long range, short load cycles and typical Porsche driving dynamics.” The estimates put the range of the 600 horsepower EV at about 480 km and the compatible fast chargers will reach 80 percent in 15 minutes.
