Pirelli Launches P Zero for Electric Cars, the Elect

It had to happen. Italian tiremaker Pirelli launched P Zero tire specifically for use on electric or hybrid vehicles. The tire, launched at the 2019 Geneva Auto Show, employs a silent tread to emphasize the quietness in the cabin of EVs and hybrids. The aptly named Elect is explicitly designed to give immediate grip to electric vehicles due to their instantaneous torque.
